Death and resurrection
When you die
- The character stays on the ground as a skull, its name in grey above it. Allies can target it with a click.
- A "You are dead" panel offers Back to the ferryman, right away. If you do nothing, you go back on your own after 5 minutes. While you wait, a Monk can resurrect you.
- Back to the ferryman: you start again from the ferryman you are bound to (see Maps and travel), or from the start if you are bound to none, with all your health and resource. In the War of the Realms, you start again from your realm's arrival.
- Disconnected while dead: when you come back, you are at the ferryman.
Resurrection
- The Monk learns it at level 5: he targets a dead ally at most 6 tiles away, in sight, and casts the spell for 5 seconds (a hit taken interrupts it). It costs him half his maximum mana, and 30 seconds before he can do it again. Possible in the middle of a fight.
- The dead player gets "X wants to resurrect you here", with Accept or Decline, for 1 minute.
- Once accepted, they get up on the spot with 30% of their health and 10% of their resource. Nobody can target or hit them for 3 seconds.
- Resurrection sickness: for 2 minutes, their damage and heals are only worth 75%. It shows under their frame.
Lost experience
- Only from level 6, and only when killed by a monster: never by a player, never in the War of the Realms.
- The loss is paid when going back to the ferryman; resurrected, you only pay half of it.
- You never lose a level. The details are in Levels and experience.
