Trading between players
A window where each player puts down items and money, then both accept.
Offering a trade
- Target a player of your realm, alive, less than 6 tiles away, and press "Trade" in their frame.
- They get "X offers you a trade", with Accept or Decline, for 30 seconds.
The trade window
- It opens for both players, next to the bag: your offer on the left, the other player's on the right.
- Putting down an item: double-click an item in the bag, "Offer" in its details, or "Offer the selection" after selecting several. Double-click an item in your offer to take it back.
- Clicking an item in either offer shows its details.
- Money: the "Coins" field of your offer.
- Up to 10 items on each side, taken from the bag (not worn equipment).
- Account-bound items (found in idle mode) can't be traded.
Accepting
- The slightest change to an offer, on either side, cancels both acceptances: you never accept anything other than what you see.
- When both have accepted, everything is exchanged at once: either everything goes through, or nothing (for example if a bag can't receive everything).
- "Cancel" or the cross close the trade for both. It also cancels on its own if you move more than 6 tiles apart, if one dies, changes map, leaves with a messenger or disconnects.
Safety
- The server checks everything: realm, distance, items, money. Nobody can cheat on what they give.
- Every completed trade is recorded, to spot scams and the sale of items for real money.
- An account in child mode can neither offer nor receive a trade.
- A player you have blocked can no longer offer you a trade (see The chat).
