Child mode
A setting for younger players' accounts.
What it changes
- No chat at all: nothing is received or sent, private messages included. Messages are not just hidden: they are never sent to this account.
- Other players' names are replaced by a neutral name, such as "Warrior (Blue)", everywhere on screen: above characters, in the rankings and in the combat log.
- No trading between players: none offered, none received.
Turning it on
- When signing up: tick "This account is for a child".
- Or later: Menu > Settings > Child mode.
- You then choose a 4-digit parental code. It is asked for to turn child mode off, and the number of attempts is limited.
- The setting belongs to the account: it follows the child on all their devices.
