Personal data
The Personal data page, reached from the sign-in screen, explains what the game keeps about you. In short:
- No data is sold or passed on to a third party or an advertising service. Only the host, who runs the server, stores it.
- Your account (email, password in a form that cannot be read back) and your characters (name, realm, appearance, progress, items): as long as the account exists.
- Connection addresses: 12 months, for security and investigations into cheating or abuse.
- Chat and game events: 30 days, for moderation.
- Combat details: 7 days, to balance the game.
- How the game runs on your device (screen, browser, smoothness, errors): 30 days, to fix bugs.
- Backups, encrypted: 7 days.
- No cookies. The browser only keeps your session (if you stay signed in) and your settings (keys, volume, chat).
- The data is hosted in the European Union (Germany), with no American service.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or delete your account, at the contact address given on that page. You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
